Oh NO! You lost your little silky hen? That's sad.
I am sorry! I had 3 of the best little silkie hens and one by one they were picked off at that farm last year.
So sorry - it is always hard to lose one. I know what it feels like. I am sure she loved her time with you though!
You've lost a beautiful bird. I love Silkies but do not have good luck with them. Sorry for your loss.
Awww, so sorry to hear your lost your silky hen. I love the breed myself and have tons of them, they are superb mothers.
Oh no! I am so sorry to hear about your loss, I know the heartache you feel. Blessings to you.
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.
Poor little thing. I'm so sorry.
Oh, Sandy. That's so sad!
Oh dear. To lose a part of your animal family is so heartbreaking. She was a beauty, and I know she had a good life. So sorry, Sandy.I pray she didn't suffer.
Thanks for all the sweet comments. We are not sure what happened. I found her in the coop Monday evening surrounded by all her babies. Don said she came out Monday morning with everyone else but it was raining and he didn't stay out with them for long. She was a sweet thing and we will miss her. We now have the babies she raised (4 black silkies & the BR/Ameraucana mix) and two adolescent Silkies. I just hope they are as sweet as she was!
So sorry about your hen. I know I get attached to all my critters around here and it is sad to lose one.It is so nice you have here babies.Pam
Oh Sandy, I'm sorry! It is so hard to lose them.
Oh that's heartbreaking, especially to find her like that with her babies. She was certainly beautiful...
