Thank you for all the sweet comments. Boone was killed when a tree blew over in an upcoming storm. HB was headed to bring both Georgia and Boone in and saw the whole thing. What a freak accident. Luckily it was instantaneous and he didn't suffer at all. Of course, 20 seconds later and it could have been much, much worse......
But still, I miss my boy, my "it's time to go to bed" buddy, my friend! Rest in peace, Booner!
Found your blog over at A Little Farm with a Big Heart. I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. Our animals become such huge parts of our lives, and leave such voids when they go. RIP dear Boone.
all of my love and sympathy. Boone was beautiful...his face reminds me of one of our dogs. You can see he has a beautiful soul in those eyes of his. What an crazy way to lose him...but at least it was quick...he was probably breathing in the intoxicating smells a storm stirs up and died happily. It's great you were able to give him such a wonderful life. I believe you will see him again someday. hugsfromafar
So sorry for the loss of Boone. It is so heart wrenching. Boone will be waiting for you. And all the wonderful memories you have. The years you were able to share in his life. Hugs to you.
