Where did March go...???

Spring chickens....

New chicken house....

New garden gate....

Spring showers and rainbows...

Miss Staple Belly...
Update: Maybel's staples are gone and she is almost completely recovered. All tennis balls have been confiscated.

Kitchen help....

Every day's an Easter Egg hunt....
...and what's with everyone using the same nest box???

A busy girl...

(...and one that is not suppose to be "on" the dining room table! Of course, cuteness prevailed.)

Early spring has been filled with a lot of surprises and activities. Baby goats and chicks, baby rabbits on the way, flowers, dogs, grandchildren, eggs....things that make me smile.

Hope your days are also filled with smiles, hugs and lots of love.

Have a great weekend!

  1. And by the looks of it, it has been a month full of snuggles on your farm!

  2. I "Found" your blog through Whistling Wind Farm.. I am a wanna be farmer and get my kick of farming through ya'll... THanks for having an open blog and allowing people like me to blog stalk... :) BTW: I'm in Georgia too and know Christy!

  3. What a terrific group of photos! I love the new chicken house and the gate. You've been very creative this month!

  4. What a beautiful spot you have! Are the bunnies in with the chickens. I am thinking about putting them with the peacocks...not sure yet.

  5. Where are the baby goats? You can't post too many pictures of them! Sweet Pea is quite cute too though.

  6. Just found your blog, great animal pictures! Check out our blog

  7. Passing by the farm via Whistling Wind always nice to find new "farming" neighbors. I lost March myself, can't believe April is here. Of course a month ago when we had 13 inches of snow I was praying for spring.

  8. Awwwwwwww! Those last 3 photos are precious beyond words. You have such a full, rich, blessed life....and I can tell that you know that and cherish every moment.

Your photos are all so wonderful. And I hope Maybel leaves everything inedible alone from now on. Eeek!

  9. Hi Sandy,

  10. Love the little one curled up with the pets. So sweet.
