Well, mine are! (it's actually the tomato plant that's hairy)
And I have a whole new batch of cherry tomatoes growing.
Oh I know we have someone saying "we've got a novice here".
and, well, they would be right!
The plants had thrived, the cherry tomatoes were plentiful,
I was happy (never having gardened before) but it was time,
they had run their course. So I never expected a revival,
a whole new second crop AND I never, never, expected hair!
Is this normal???

Behind that sweet little face......
.....lies the culprit!
Meet Monroe. He is a gentle old soul. Sweet and fairly quiet.
(at least by coonhound standards)
His one vice, he loves to munch on electronics
(i.e. Blackberry, TV remote, cell phones etc...).
Of course, he will now be on his best behavior for
the next several months, just watching and waiting
for us to drop our guard, again.

Breakfast at Spring Lake!
As for the title question, for those of you not from the south (particularly around Atlanta), The Varsity is touted as the "Worlds Largest Drive-In". Chili dogs, onion rings, frosted oranges....
The original Varsity was started Atlanta, GA but we've had one in Athens since 1932. And as you have probably surmised, as you make your way to the counter to place your order someone is already yelling......What'll ya have???
If you ever have a chance to visit, it's pure Americana.

....Maggie, Magpie, the Maggie Mooger, etc...
Maggie doesn't know that she is the smallest dog on the farm. Even though, she gets stepped on, a lot!
She has been the perfect pint-sized addition to our pack.

Where ya goin?
What's to eat?
Can I help?
and on and on and on and on.....
Meet Cher. She is my perpetual 3 year old. No one, and I repeat, no one can enter her world without being pestered (I mean, helped) to death.
