Breakfast at Spring Lake!
As for the title question, for those of you not from the south (particularly around Atlanta), The Varsity is touted as the "Worlds Largest Drive-In". Chili dogs, onion rings, frosted oranges....
The original Varsity was started Atlanta, GA but we've had one in Athens since 1932. And as you have probably surmised, as you make your way to the counter to place your order someone is already yelling......What'll ya have???
If you ever have a chance to visit, it's pure Americana.
My ten-year-olds did a little dance of happiness when they saw this photo of dinner hour at your version of The Varsity. Then they went off to beg again for a goat -- or three. See what an inspiration you are!

I've got fond memories of my dad taking us to the Varsity in Athens. I was very young and I remember the tall counters and the stools. And it was LOUD! xo, suzy
